SHIPPING CHARGES
We ship to the UK with Royal Mail at a flat rate of £5.95
We ship worldwide with DHL on request and Royal Mail to Europe at £8.95 and the Rest of the World at £12.95.
Due to Customs and Excise Controls shipping with Royal Mail can take up to a month worst case scenario.
DHL is quicker, no more than 72 hours but costs more - approximately £40 for Europe.
Please note since Brexit Customs Charges may be payable on receipt as we do not charge VAT on the site.
All Purchases are Final. Please contact us before purchasing if you have any questions.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. If the buyer fails to collect or pick up the item after the items have been shipped, no refunds will be issued. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up the item once it has been dispatched.
Shipping Policy
Shipping charges are constantly fluctuating, please be aware that additional shipping charges are subject to changes at my discretion.
RETURNS
MIXOLOGEMS will refund, offer to exchange, give a credit note or replace the goods as long as the item is unworn, undamaged and is returned in the original, new condition within 14 days.
MIXOLOGEMS will refund certain items only if they’re faulty and if you’ve told us within 14 days of receiving the items that you want to return them. Return postage must be paid by you. You have 14 days to return your order after you have received it.
A refund will be given only after receipt of the returned goods. Please note that the original delivery charge on an order is not refundable. Any refund will be sent within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
We do recommend that you request a certificate of posting or proof of postage from the Post Office if you are returning items to us. MIXOLOGEMS reserves the right to withhold all or part of the refund amount if any items are returned damaged. Damaged items will NOT be refunded.
BREXIT
As of 1st January 2021 the UK is no longer part of the EU. This means that new rules apply regarding how the UK trades with EU countries.
VAT
UK VAT (currently 20%) is no longer payable on goods for EU customers and the customer is responsible for paying VAT when importing goods into their country.
IMPORT DUTIES/TARIFFS
The situation regarding import tariffs is extremely complicated and you may need to pay import duties when importing certain goods into your country if declared to be over a certain value. A gift under the value of 39 EUR is tax-free.
Please note: it is the sole responsibility of the customer to check the rules in their country regarding how VAT and duties (if applicable) are collected - as a seller MIXOLOGEMS are not responsible for paying VAT or any other charges for goods exported out of the UK.
AS EU customers no longer have to pay VAT prices are automatically 20% cheaper than they were last year. Assuming VAT is 20% in your country (and this is part of your additional charges), you are therefore paying an extra 10% of the total value of your order. This 10% comprises import duties (usually 0-6% depending on the item) and a handling charge from the courier/postal system in your country. This handling charge does not increase proportionally depending on the value of your order, therefore the larger your order the smaller your additional costs will be (relatively).

There may be delays to orders leaving the UK as new customs processes are put into place.
