By trade I am an entrepreneur, a travel writer, boutique hotel guru, hotel reviewer and hotel and lifestyle marketeer! During lockdown whilst planning a trip to India (which inevitably had to be postponed) I stumbled across passionate artisans skilled in carving and polishing crystals and gems. I reached out to them and spoke to them over a couple of months before deciding to start up Mixologems from scratch. I had no help and of course made mistakes along the way! Colour makes me happy and I hope my colourful collection of charms, pendants and gemstone jewellery makes you happy too!
Mixologems was set up in 2021 during lockdown as a result of a cancelled trip to India. It was during my research on where to stay and where to visit that I came across the vibrant colours of India. Along the journey, I stumbled across talented artisans, passionate about their work and craft and this is where the Mixologems road began…
I love colour, I love fun and I love anything that sparkles! I work directly with the artisans to bring you gold-plated, gold-filled and gold designs using semi-precious stones including onyx, mother of pearl, topaz, lapis lazuli, aquamarine, yellow quartz, citrine, agate, rose quartz, chalcedony, amethyst, moonstone, tourmaline and more. Mix and match the charms, pendants, gems and chains for a fun, colourful effect or wear them on their own for simple elegance.
Mixologems has a limited edition collection of exclusive designs and fine jewellery in 9kt, 14kt and 18kt gold pendants made by my hand-picked talented artisans who I visited in December 2021.
Our packaging uses envelopes that are made from recycled bottles and our labels are made from recycled paper.
